Leicester played 6 more games this season as the Premier League has not been interrupted due to the anti-covid measures (Czech Fortuna Liga was suspended for 5 weeks between October and November 2020). Despite this Slavia won one more point than the Foxes - 69 points in 28 games across all competitions in compare to 68 points for Leicester in 34 games.

The Red-whites, who won the Czech title in 2019 and 2020, are now on top of the Czech league 10 points ahead of their city rival Sparta. Leicester City have a great season too. They are currently third in the Premier League level with second Manchester United, 7 points behind the table leaders Manchester City and 4 points ahead of Chelsea.

Leicester are showing great numbers both in defence and up front. They are 4th in the Premier League concerning scored goals (64 goals make it almost 2 per game on average) and 6th concerning conceded goals (exactly 1 goal conceded per game). Slavia scored 73 goals in 2020/21 which makes it 2.61 strikes per game with less than 1 per game conceded. In 2021 Slavia haven’t score less than 3 goals in all their games (25 goals in 7 games).

Jamie Vardy is the top scorer for the Foxes with 12 goals in 23 games. Harvey Barnes scored the same number of goals starting to 31 games, James Madison is one of the key players with 10 goals and 10 assists. Another key player - young full back James Justin - does not travel to Prague after an injury last week against Brighton.

Slavia have two 11-goal strikers, Abdallah Sima and Jan Kuchta, both on top of the Top scorer’s table in the Czech league. Sima scored 3 goals in the UEL Group Stage, Kuchta added 2 more. Lukáš Provod has currently 8 assists in the Czech league, the biggest number among all players.

Leicester won their UEL Group with 13 points ahead of Braga, Zarja and AEK Athens. Slavia finished second in Group C, 3 points behind Leverkusen, 6 points ahead of Beer Sheva and 9 points ahead of OGC Nice.
