Slavia Heroes carry on helping

Despite the gradual loosening of COVID-19 measures in the Czech Republic, Slavia heroes carry on helping among Slavia community.

The quarantine in the Czech Republic continues and the state of emergency was prolonged. Especially elderly people should still stay home in order to avoid any possible contact with coronavirus. On the beginning of this week the club legends got their Slavia packages with groceries, cosmetics and Slavia souvenirs including the newly released book “Total Season”.

“I must thank Slavia that they remembered and that they visited me here in southern Bohemia. I am looking forward to seeing the game in Eden again. I wish all the fans and people around the club good health and a lot of strength and energy,” František Cipro, manager of 1995/96 league champions wished to all.

“Slavia is really the club it should be. It is great how do they care about their former players. I am looking forward to seeing all my old friends back in Eden. Enjoy the days as much as you can,” said Ivo Lubas who played 470 games in red and white in 1970s and 80s.

Together with former players also 25 oldest fans of Slavia - season-ticket holders or Odbor přátel members - got their Slavia packages with Slavia souvenirs, cosmetics, vitamins and other things. Those deliveries are realized thanks to the cooperation with Odbor přátel, Slavia Fan Store, Tribuna Sever and Area 114.
