I have been missing Slavia since I left

Simon Deli returns to Slavia on loan after one and a half year in Club Brugge. Watch his first interview on Slavia TV.

“I have been missing Slavia since I left. It was a good decision to move, then, but somewhere in my head Slavia will stay forever,” says the Ivorian defender on his first day in Eden.

“My first and biggest motivation is to come and help the team. I know that the team is now strong, but together we will be even stronger. I will give everything to the team to make another step in the Europa League and to win the league and the cup,” Deli added after his return one and a half year since he left the club for Club Brugge.

“For me, Slavia is maybe one of the best teams in Europe. And I am not saying it just because I am here now. And I hope we will continue the same way until the end of the season,” says the 29-year old player who made 128 caps for the red and whites between 2015 and 2019.
