22 players flying to Dortmund

Slavia left for Dortmund to play their last Champions League Group F against BVB. 22 players are in Jindřich Trpišovský’s squad.
Slavia play their 6th Champions League group game on Tuesday, 10 December, from 9 pm at Signal Iduna Park. The red and whites remain unbeaten away in Group F (1-1 in Milan and 0-0 in Barcelona) but with only 2 points already lost their chance to qualify into the next stage. Jindřich Trpišovský’s men will thus fight for their first win in 2019/20 Champions League, BVB – on the other side – are still in the game for the spring part, level at 7 points with Inter Milan. Barcelona are clear winners of Group F with 11 points.

22 players travel with the team for Borussia away game, including B-list goalkeeper Jakub Markovič. Long-time injured defender David Hovorka and midfielder Jakub Hromada stay in Prague.

Slavia U19 play their UEFA Youth League game against BVB on Tuesday afternoon. Unlike their older colleagues, the U19 still can qualify into the next stage, they are now level on 9 points with Inter and Borussia, Barcelona is out of the game with 3 points. The red and whites will try to repeat their home win when they defeated Dortmund 1-0.

Winning Finish to a Golden Season. Champions Defeat Plzeň

Wearing a special set of charity kits, Slavia Prague defeated Viktoria Plzeň 3–0 in the final match of the season. The champions opened the scoring with quick-fire goals from Chaloupek and Suleiman, before Chytil added a penalty before half-time. The celebrations could then begin in Eden with the “Garden Party for a Good Cause.”

Defeat in Hradec. Debutant Kohout Scores Slavia’s Only Goal

The Chance Liga champions suffered a 3–1 defeat away to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the season. The Votroci remained the only team Slavia failed to beat this season. Slavia’s only goal came late on through debutant Dan Kohout.

CHAMPIONS 23. Victory over Jablonec Secures Back-to-Back Titles

Slavia Prague defeated Jablonec 5–1 in the third round of the championship group and secured the league title. The goals that sealed the successful defence of last year’s triumph came from Štěpán Chaloupek, who scored twice, Samuel Isife, Mojmír Chytil and Tomáš Holeš. The visitors’ only reply came through Sobol. It is the 23rd league title in the club’s history. CONGRATULATIONS. THANK YOU!
